The kind of migraines i would get prior to my seeing Dr. Loftus have diminished. He worked with me on finding the best solution to keep my migraines at bay. His extensive knowledge of migraines field has given me the comfort knowing that I’m getting the best treatment, Prior to Dr. Loftus I had three other Dr.’s try to help me with my migraines. Most of them would just prescribe pain medication which did not treat the migraine. Dr Loftus took the time to find a treatment without pain meds.

Dr. Loftus and his team have literally changed my way of life. I was suffering from debilitating migraines and often ended up in the emergency room to obtain pain relief when medications were not working. I have been under the care of a neurologist since I was 5 years old for migraines. I have been on virtually every medication and prophylactic available to migraine sufferers. Nothing kept my headaches at bay. Two years ago, after 2 visits to the ER in a week, I began researching neurologists and migraine specialists. I was drawn to Dr. Loftus’ mission and after reading many reviews, I scheduled a visit. I have been driving from Spring to Bellaire in order to go to Dr. Loftus. You never have more than a 5-minute wait and he actually takes the time to listen to what you have to say. I feel he attempts to continually look for ways to improve my health issues. I have gone to many, many neurologists in the Houston area over a period of 30 yrs and no one has come close to Dr. Loftus. Also, his staff is fabulous. They are always pleasant and happy to help in any way.

For 20+ years I have been told I have Migraines, which was amended to chronic cluster headaches. I have taken numerous medications, given myself shots, applied diets free of caffeine and chocolate, had sinus and neck surgeries, acupuncture, cortisone shots in my head, MRI’s, CAT scans, not to mention all countless visits to the ER, all to no avail. Within 10 minutes speaking with Dr Loftus, he informed me that I had been misdiagnosed all these years, he knew what was wrong, and he has a game plan to help me.
