His exams are thorough and focused. He takes all the time a patient needs. He always explains the options well so patients can make an informed decision. He cares about his patients-that’s obvious, and genuine. As a RN, I know what it takes to provide quality health care, and I appreciate Dr. Loftus and his staff, more than words can say! I travel 3000 miles (round-trip) to visit Bellaire Neurology and Dr. Loftus. Although travel is not easy for me, these visits so worth it. I am so grateful for Dr. Loftus and his staff!

Longtime Patient 7yrs plus…. Dr.Loftus has always taken the time to thoroughly evaluate my conditions and symptoms (which change & can be intermittent). He also teaches others in his field. For 20+ years I have been told I have Migraines, which was amended to chronic cluster headaches. I have taken numerous medications, given myself shots, applied diets free of caffeine and chocolate, had sinus and neck surgeries, acupuncture, cortisone shots in my head, MRI’s, CAT scans, not to mention all countless visits to the ER, all to no avail. Within 10 minutes speaking with Dr Loftus, he informed me that I had been misdiagnosed all these years, he knew what was wrong, and he has a game plan to help me. Improved Quality of Living! I do not remember a time in my life that I didn’t have migraines. As a child, my parents were told to get my eyes checked, give me Tylenol, drink more water, etc. I basically had to learn to live with the pain. As an adult, I knew there was no way I could function without getting my migraines under control. A friend told me to make an appointment with Dr. Loftus and that was hands down the best advice I’ve ever received. I no longer wake up every morning wondering if a migraine is going to ruin my day. Dr. Loftus and his staff are compassionate, friendly, and very professional! I’ve been a patient for around 10 years, and I tell EVERYONE to make an appointment with him the second they tell me they have migraines.
